Friends of UCLA Rowing

FOUR’s primary mission is to provide financial, organizational, and inspirational support to the UCLA Men’s Rowing Team.

Consistent with the historic tradition of competitive rowing at UCLA and in furtherance of its mission, FOUR strives to promote the growth and development of personal, academic and athletic excellence of the team’s student athletes, to enrich their collegiate experience at UCLA, and to propel them as distinguished and diligent contributors to society.

Membership: Any person who has participated in, donated to, or supported the UCLA Men’s Rowing Team, whether as a student athlete, relative or friend of a student athlete, philanthropist, or other supporter of the UCLA Men’s Rowing Team, is eligible to be registered for membership in FOUR.

Board: A group of 20 FOUR members serve as Directors of the Board. They meet on a monthly basis to ensure the progress and success of FOUR’s core mission.

FOUR is not limited to its Board Directors and can only be successful with when there is significant community participation as and investment. They are regularly looking to expand the diversity of influence into the organization and willing to explore new partnerships.

Join the Board

Every year leading up to June 1st, the Board welcomes nominations to fill the next cohort of 5 individual to serve a 4 year term. Any member of FOUR is eligible to be a Director on the Board. They are looking for any individual with the time and passion to serve for the organization, and with the skills to work in one or more of the 3 essential committees: Communications, Events, and Stewardship.
